"Pride" parades are stupid and so are the losers who are in them...
Every time I turn on the TV there is some march for gay pride or black pride or Mexican pride or southern pride. There seems to be a "pride" parade for every stinking group on the planet.
These people really need to find something better to be proud for. It's really a sad thing, when you think about it. These people are proud about something that they had no control over. If you are black or gay or white or southern - you had nothing to do with it. So, what about it makes you proud?
Is your life so empty that you have to be proud over your sexual preference? Are you so void of accomplishments that you need to find pride through your skin color? Talk about grasping at straws.
Here is an idea; instead of being proud of something that you had no control over, why don't you go and do something to be proud of. Stop looking for something to build your feeble self-esteem and go do something worthwhile.
Yes, I know, it's much easier to say that you're proud about something that you didn't do than it is to actually accomplish something. But really, your skin tone, religion, sexual preference or nation of origin is nothing to be proud over.
And another thing - stop blocking traffic with your stupid parades. Go be proud in private. No one cares that you're black or gay or Jewish or white, especially me. All I care about is that you are blocking my way to where I want to go. And you guys are pissing me off by making me take a detour. Now, if you are set on holding your stupid pride parade, do it at a decent hour. What the hell is the point of holding a parade, right outside my door, at 9AM on a Saturday? Are you trying to piss off everyone who wants to sleep in? It's a wonder you haven't been shot for holding your stupid parade.
So, to conclude - Parades
because you are proud of something that you have no control over are stupid.
And, you are stupid if you are part of them. Get off your fat ass and go DO
something to be proud of you losers.
