Outraged at Diane Feinstein
You have to love politicians. This group of fun loving ne'er do wells is always making asses of themselves in ways that would make a clown jealous!
Today, good old Diane Feinstein said that she was outraged at the recall election. Nasty words from a woman who holds her position because of the voters of the state of California - The same voters who signed petitions to recall the current governor of the state.
Now, this country is founded on democratic principals. And though it is not a direct democracy the people who create the laws of the land are voted in by the people.
What's more, the constitution of the state of California was voted on and ratified by the people of California by a democratic process that is the standard of the country. She herself was elected to office by the votes of the people. So, how can she be outraged when the people of this state execute their right to recall a politician who is failing at his job. You would think that she would be pleased that the democratic process and the Constitution of the state are being implemented so well.
Basically, what she is saying to all of us - her constituency - is that she is outraged that we would have the audacity to express our opinions in a Constitutional and legal manner.
I don't recall her being so outraged when there was a Democratic led drive to recall Pete Wilson or Ronald Reagan. Could it be that she is outraged because it is a member of her own political party who is being recalled?
The very notion that she would have the nerve to express outrage because the people spoke their minds is offensive. She smells an awful lot like a fascist to me. She wants her way and anything else is offensive.
But, I am not surprised, this is the woman who continually ignores the US Constitution and pushes for more gun control laws - Laws that have already proven to be failures - laws which undermine the fabric of the US Constitution.
And, lest you forget, the Constitution is what guarantees us our freedoms. And, when one Amendment is undermined without an Amendment, ratified by ¾ of the states, the rest of the Amendments are eroded with it. And thus, our freedoms are eroded.
(By the way, did you know that Diane Feinstein carries a gun and has armed body guards? But, she doesn't want the rest of us to have guns. Aint that neat?)
