The Matrix: Revolution - a pre-viewing review.

First of all, Keanu Reeves gives his typically bland performance, lulling anyone watching into a coma. Is there anyone more capable of inducing a brain stilling coma than Keanu? Other than William Hurt, that is. Now, those are two dull assed actors. Someone should put those two into a movie for insomniacs. Talk about an instant cure!

No doubt, Carrie Anne Moss will give a credible performance but I have to wonder...is she really a chick? I mean, she is way more masculine than Keanu. And, she is only slightly less masculine than Lawrence Fishburn. I really have trouble getting past the possibility that she is really a guy. It wouldn't bother me if she were a guy, but the uncertainty is far too distracting for me to enjoy her as an actress.

Closing out the big three of the movie is Lawrence Fishburn. Is that really his name? What the hell kind of name is Fishburn? Anyhow, Fishburn will give an impressive performance as he spouts off inane philosophical meanderings that the Matrix loving geeks will love. And, make no mistake, they will love the stupid bullshit that the writers will make him spew. Sadly, no matter how much these geeks love his "deeply meaningful" diatribes, they will still be bullshit.

As for the special effect - WOW! The only part of the movie that's worth a shit is the special effects. Unfortunately, we have seen all of these special effects before. Even more unfortunate is that the story and the main star suck wind so much that without the special effects you don't have a movie.

In short, this movie, just like the first two, sucks ass - and not in the good way.

Shane, come back...come back Shane!
