Catholicism - Child Molesting, Good - Gay Marriage, Bad

Recently, the Vatican urged Catholics and non-Catholics to unite in campaigning against gay marriages and gay adoptions, in an attempt to stop the recognition of same-sex unions.

Catholic politicians have a "moral duty" to oppose laws granting legal rights to gay couples, and non-Catholics should follow their lead since the issue concerns "natural moral law."

That came from the Vatican's orthodoxy watchdog, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

Now, I know a lot of people don't like the idea of gay couples becoming legally married. I know that a lot of folks don't want them to adopt kids. I can't say that I understand why they are against it, but it is their choice. Too, it is the right of the church to say that they are against it.

However, the thing that really pisses me off is that they are so vocal over this and so quiet over the molestation of children by their priests. You would have thought that the Church - so moral and compassionate - would have been even more incensed that their own were sodomizing children.

Sure, after the cat was out of the bag, they stood up and said that it was a bad thing. But, before that, they were moving these child-molesting scumbags all over hells half acre to protect them.

Isn't that nice of them? Let's move a pedophile into a new neighborhood where trusting parents will give these guys more fresh meat. Finger lickin' good, eh

Where in the hell does the Church get the gall to urge people to oppose the marriage of two people who love each other? Where do they get the gall to say that it's immoral?

And, as for them not being allowed to adopt kid goes…I know quite a few gay folks that I would trust my daughter with. I cannot say the same about a Catholic priest.

Quite frankly, I could never see myself entrusting my daughter to the care of a Catholic priest. Not knowing how they moved these sodomizing pedophiles around to protect them.

And the sad thing is that they are still protecting them by not giving the names of these child molesters to the authorities.

So, to these holier than thou hypocrites I say - Let he who isn't greased up cast the first stone.
