Who Cares if Arnold Groped Women?
With the Gubernatorial race in California coming down into it's final leg, and with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead to replace Governor Gray Davis, allegations of sexual misconduct on the part of Arnold have been coming forth.
So, what's the big deal? He groped a chick, is what they are saying. And again, even if he grabbed a gal and squeezed her tits and told her he wanted to bang her in the lunchroom, I have to ask…what's the big deal?
Why is it even being reported when it has been clear that that sort of thing doesn't matter to anyone? I mean, Bill Clinton got elected and re-elected after he was accused of sexual harassment. Hell, people even said that it was none of their business and that it was between her and him.
The Kennedy's are well known for their sexual misconduct and alcohol abuse (see Ted Kennedy) but no one seems to care about that. So, why even bring it up with Arnold? There isn't even a case filed against him.
Bill Clinton got a blowjob while in office from an intern and nobody cared. He even lied under oath about it. Everyone said "I would have lied, too". And then the public and the press jumped on Kenneth Starr for doing his job. Obviously, no one cared about Clinton's sexual misconduct or his purjury.
Jesse Jackson had an affair and a child with a woman who was not his wife. No one cared. He still has lots of contributors and holds a place of power in the black community.
Carole Moseley-Braun lived off of her campaign funds and paid her boyfriend lots of money while covering up charges of sexual misconduct on his part. No one cared about that.
Al Sharpton was caught on tape discussing a drug deal for cocaine. No one cared about it and he still has his base of supporters and media who hang on his every word.
So, since no one cares what any of these people have done in the way of criminal or sexual misconduct. Why is the press even reporting on allegations which are not remotely substantiated at this point? And even if they turn out to be true...who really cares?
