Golf – The sport of Kings – the manly sport to which all other sports aspire. Ok, the game that fat, non-athletic, men play while wearing clothes that would make a blind person cringe. Nothing beats a long day on a huge lawn hitting a small ball and then walking long distances to try to have their caddy find it.
Recently, Annika Sorenstam, a professional women’s golf champ decided to try her skills against the male professionals of her so-called sport. And how did she do? She did pretty well when you consider that she could barely beat some of the worst professional golfers on the men’s tour. And, after the second round she was out, sinking like the Titanic, which couldn’t make par either.
But, she didn’t leave quietly. No, she got a standing ovation. People all over were speaking well about her and her attempt to take it to the next level. They cheered her in defeat as she had faced the lion and not backed down. And, even though the lion was golf, the pussycat of sports, she is to be cheered, for even a pussycat can scratch you and cause a nasty infection.
Nowhere else but in the USA can a woman compete against men in a sport as grueling as golf. And nowhere but in the USA will a person be rewarded for failing as she did. And she did fail. She got her ass kicked by most of the shitty golfers and all of the good ones. But, she took it like a man, which made many women golfers very proud, since so many look and act like men.
Annika now has fans all over the world that applauded her. Women all over the world have become fans of hers. And many of the male golfers and sportswriters applauded her. Which is proof that women are delirious and that most men are so cowed by the politically correct climate to voice anything but popular opinion.
Only Vijay Singh, a slightly chubby professional golfer, had the balls to say what he truly felt – that she didn’t belong there competing with the men. And for that he was castigated by everyone with a pen and a place to publish. Only in the USA, land of free speech, will a man be castigated for answering a question if his answer isn’t politically correct.
So, thank you Annika, for everything that you proved…that a woman can’t compete with men and that a man can’t voice his opinion if it isn’t politically correct. Thank you.
